Adriaan Wildschutt, a first-year professional athlete representing HOKA Northern Arizona Elite and South Africa, won the men's 10,000 meters in a South African national record 27:23.10 at the On Running Track Fest at Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Wildschutt eclipsed the 1999 mark of 27:29.94 established by Hendrick Ramaala. Wildschutt also took down the stadium all-time mark of 27:36.2 produced in 1982 by Gabriel Kamau of Kenya.
