Colin Kirkpatrick, a junior at Pomona-Pitzer representing New Zealand, placed 13th in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase in a lifetime-best 8:41.92 to achieve an NCAA Division 3 record at the On Running Track Fest at Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif. Kirkpatrick eclipsed the 2008 mark of 8:43.78 by Hamilton's Peter Kosgei.
